With all the movies, and all of the TV shows out there, every time I see younger, I am drawn to it because it's so well-made, and the cast of characters is perfect. I would have to say it's probably made more for women, whether they're older or younger, But I love the whole concept of an older woman pretending to be a much younger woman to navigate her way throughout the world. Whoever chose the casting did a very good job and I think it's very emotional and very funny and there's no laugh track which is a plus, but I wish they would make more TV shows like this. It's a little bit lighthearted, but yet dramatic, everything now nowadays seems so dark and miserable, so this is always a beacon of light in the dark.
Wow, this movie was really amazing and I am extremely picky. I am not good at writing reviews, but I know when the movie is good or bad, and this was a very good movie, not only did I love the subject matter, it felt so raw and so real, and I could actually identify with it, even though I don't have these particular issues, but some people Can feel this way, I have. It can be all consuming, and I love the camera work, the plot the directorial debut by Brittany Snow. The music was impeccable, thank God I was able to use Shazam for some of these songs. But more over this film had some of the best acting, but only by three people, Courtney Thomas and Dave. Who would've thought Dave would be a great actor? I am so impressed. This young lady is going far and of course Thomas already has a flourishing career. The supporting cast was good, but these three really stole the show, well the two main characters Stole the show. Please Hollywood make more movies like this. So touching and emotional and so beautifully well done.
Bravo, bravo, bravo. Amy, you did such a good job as usual, but this seems to be a little bit of a breakout role for you, I think you may be coming into your own here. The cast was absolutely amazing but primarily you and the actor who played your husband. U2 were stand out characters. I really did not know what to expect, but this is definitely not a comedy, but it was more like a drama fantasy. I wish they would come up with new categories, because it can confuse people. It's also shocking for me to realize that streaming companies like Hulu and Netflix can put out better movies than Hollywood. So that's to start with. I loved the whole entire concept of the movie and I think every woman can probably relate to this, even if they are not mothers. So often we can feel so trapped in that can manifest itself in so many different ways, and I loved the clever way that it manifested itself in this movie. It was very thought-provoking and very moving and I appreciated something so refreshing and new. The music was particularly beautiful. I thought this was an A+ movie all the way around, and anyone who gave out anything less than probably an eight, probably simply did not understand it. A person has to have an open mind to appreciate this kind of material. Please make more movies like this for women... And for men, but as women we need more material like this. Thank you.
