While I respect all art forms, I feel compelled to share my thoughts after reading several positive reviews praising this movie. One major issue for me was the lack of consideration for the possibility of death by accidents, even if we entertain the idea of improved genetic mutation. Its not possible for someone to avoid accidents for 14,000 years. The caveman should have figured out that he was obviously immortal. Additionally, the sudden acceptance of the outlandish story by the professors, coupled with the exaggerated reactions of characters like the religious woman crying and others becoming enraged, borders on the absurd and could have been better executed as satire. The film lacks any meaningful philosophical depth and fails to provoke thought. Furthermore, the inclusion of the Jesus narrative felt unnecessary and only detracted from the already faltering plot. Overall, I found the film lacking in coherence and missed opportunities for deeper exploration of its themes.
It's an interesting documentary that explores a severe case of stalking to the point that if it were a movie, it would be hard to believe. It also illustrates the dangers of online dating, where you never know the true personality of a person. Although it took a long time to solve, the authorities working on the case did a great job, especially the tech expert who dedicated himself so much that he refused to have brain surgery until he solved the case. He was the main reason the case was solved. The documentary is engaging, with many interesting twists and turns that I won't talk about to avoid giving spoilers, but I do recommend watching it.
