I really love the concept of this show. There's an awful lot of lazy writing and definitely feels a bit like a Soap for a lot of the time, however I wanted to keep watching. The characters are (for the most part) likeable, storylines are your typical clue hunting/ save the victim/ catch the bad guy type. A lot of it was quite predictable but in a way that makes you feel excited when you guess right - which I think was probably the writers' intention!
There were lots of moments throughout that felt emotional and poignant - though often accompanied by some cliche dialogue. It's somehow lighthearted whilst also exploring some deeper themes.
Overall, it's worth a watch and the ending is one of the best I've seen of this type of series. You just need to overlook some of the more amateur aspects of its production.
