The #MumbaiClimateWeek with the theme ‘Where hope meets action’ brough together 50+ organizations together in a truly collaborative way to organize 100+ deep dive conversations on wide variety of conversations around climate action – covering climate mitigation, adaptation, food security, resilience cities, energy transition, heat stress and more. All stakeholders including Government of Maharashtra (GoM), Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA), corporates, philanthropy, and civil society came together demonstrating the will and need for collective, accelerated action. Mahindra Group is committed to climate action as part of its ‘planet positive’ strategy and played an instrumental role as one of the key corporate partners to bring the event together supported by the state government and initiated by Project Mumbai. Our new line of Mahindra Electric Origin SUVs support transport sector decarbonization and were appreciated by everyone including Honourable State Governor Acharya Devvrat.
