PRESENTATION

Appreciated apprentices. This guide is an instrument that seeks to strengthen the knowledge acquired
during the first competition and its progressive construction about a new knowledge of the English as a
foreign language. We know that English is the most used
language for international communication and speaking it
represents a cultural, social and labor advantage in the
globalized world, therefore in this opportunity, the
strengthening or development of its capacity to produce
information in English will be prioritized in oral and written
ways. For this reason, with the support of the instructor,
through individual work or in team, you can, among other
aspects, cover new and specific vocabularies of your training area with greater complexity, as well as
others of daily use, all of this is starting from new grammatical structures.

Remember that the ultimate goal of learning is to use it significantly in the attainment of your goals and
that every teaching-learning process requires techniques and methods of study, as well as dedication,
discipline, and responsibility; particularly when you learn a language different from the one you're used to
speaking. For this reason, this guide includes 20% of autonomous work which is as important as the work
that is done in the learning environment with the instructor.

The future tense is used when talking about something that will happen in the future, though the
“be going to” form of the “future modal” is usually used for things that have already been decided.
The future tense is formed using two “modals”: “will” and “be going to”. For negative and positive
sentences, the modal is placed before the base form of the verb.
“George  will leave  for Paris next week.”
“I  am not  going to play golf tomorrow.”
For questions, place “will” or the correct form of “be going to” in front of the subject and the base
form of the verb, after the subject.
“Will  the trees  be cut down in the spring?”
“Are  Mike and Ryan  going to sing at the concert?”

Actividad de Transferencia del conocimiento: In pairs, students should plan a party using the present
continuous for the organization of trips, events and or celebrations. Identifying the location like clubs,
restaurants, hotels, event halls, etc. Also provide information about budget, menu, and dates, among
other important party essentials. You have to plan before, during and after party. Minimum 10 different
steps each apprentice. You can visit different pages in order to explore the topic.

Of these, 24 correspond to consonants, 12 to vowels and eight

GLOSARIO DE TERMINOS
a. TED talk: is a video created from a presentation at the main TED (technology, entertainment,
design) conference or one of its many satellite events around the world. TED talks are limited to a
maximum length of 18 minutes but may be on any topic.
b. Party Itinerary: is a schedule of events relating to a planned party, basically including party
destinations where the event is held at specific times.
c. Media: the internet, newspapers, magazines, television, etc.
d. Phrasal verbs: a phrase that consists of a verb with a preposition or adverb or both, the
meaning of which is different from the meaning of its separate parts
e. Sentence connectors: words which combine two words, phrases and sentences together.
They have the same meaning of a conjunction but differ in their function.
f. Phoneme: one of the smallest units of speech that make one word different from another word
g. Newscast: a radio or television broadcast of news reports.
