Task Description
What is an inforgraphics? An inforgraphics or information graphic is a visual representation
of data (Oxford English Dictionary). It is a collection of imagery, charts, and minimal text
that gives an easy-to-understand overview of the topic (www.venngage.com).
In this task, students are expected:
1. To create an infographic that presents learning from the learning theories, models,
and principles of ICT integration in the teaching-learning process (applied in varied
content areas).
2. To visually represent data, information, and knowledge related to the topics
discussed in the event.
Three Main Elements that will compose the infographics:
1. Visual elements – various design elements such as color coding, arrows and signs,
symbols and even small cartoons or silhouettes.
2. Content element – key points learned from the virtual orientation.
3. Knowledge element – factual element, significant to the teaching – learning
process.
Steps:
1. Create your own Title.
2. Present key points (your learning from the learning theories, models, and principles
of ICT integration in the teaching-learning process) through charts, symbols, arrows
and signs, small cartoons or silhouettes.

Topic. The topic of the infographic is specific in nature and is intended
to inform and convince the viewer.
Type. The type of infographic chosen (e.g. information) supports
the content being presented.
Object. The objects included in the infographic are repeated to
support various data points and to make it easier for the viewer to
understand the infographic.
Data Visualizations. The data visualization formats chosen make
the data presented easy for the viewer to understand the
infographic.
Fonts. The inforgraphic includes an appropriate font to both
complement the content and make the text readable.
Colors. The color choices enhance the visibility of the
inforgraphic. Different saturations of the same color are used
wisely.
Layout. The layout of the infographic adheres to the invented
pyramid style-main point on top, secondary print next, and
supporting details ate the bottom.
Information organization. The inforgraphic utilizes one of the
LATCH (location, alphabetical, timeline, category, hierarchy)
information organization formats to allow the viewer to
understand the information in the infographic..
