JEE Main 2024 Exam City Intimation Notice

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) - 2024 Session 1 across various cities in India and 22 cities outside India between January 24th and February 1st 2024. This public notice provides advance information about city allotments for the exam. Candidates can check their examination city intimation slip from January 18th 2024 onward on the NTA website. This is not the admit card and the actual admit card will be issued later. Candidates facing issues accessing their city intimation slip can contact NTA for assistance.

Sub: Advance Intimation for Allotment of Examination City to the Applicants of Joint Entrance
Examination (Main) – 2024 Session 1 - Reg.
The National Testing Agency is conducting the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) – 2024 Session
1 at different Centres located various cities throughout the country and 22 Cities outside India as per
the following details:

Date of Exam Paper Shift


27, 29, 30, 31 January and Paper 1 (B.E./B. Tech) First shift (09:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon)
01 February 2024 and Second Shift (03:00 P.M. to 06:00
P.M.)
24 January 2024 Paper 2A (B. Arch), Paper 2B (B. Second Shift (03:00 P.M. to 06:30 P.M.)
Planning) and Paper 2A & 2B (B.
Arch & B. Planning both)

Advance Intimation for Allotment of Examination City for the exam to be held on 24 January 2024 has
already been hosted on the website vide Public Notice dated: 12 January 2024.
Advance Intimation for Allotment of Examination City for the exam to be held on 27, 29, 30, 31
January and 01 February 2024 for Paper 1 (B.E./[Link].) has now been hosted on the website:

The candidates are required to check/download their Examination City Intimation slip of JEE (Main)
- 2024 Session 1 (using their Application No. and Date of Birth) from the website
[Link] w.e.f. 18 January 2024 and go through the instructions contained therein.
The Candidates may please note that this is NOT the Admit Card for JEE (Main) – 2024 Session 1.
This is advance information for the allotment of the City where the Examination Centre will be located,
to facilitate the candidates. The Admit Card of JEE (Main) – 2024 Session 1 shall be issued later.
In case any candidate faces difficulty in downloading/checking the Examination City Intimation Slip
for JEE (Main) – 2024 Session 1, he/she can contact on 011-40759000 or e-mail at
