HOW TO LOWER THE RISK OF YOUR ACCOUNT GETTING LOCKED: (optional)
1.Contact customer support live chat before your order
2.Say that you are having some troubles ordering and you need some help
3.After they ask what the issue is explain that you are getting locked out of your
account when trying to order presents
4.They should say that there will be no issue now and you can proceed with your
order
5.Ask them nicely to stay on live chat, just so if something goes wrong while
ordering and continue per usual
6.If the account gets locked tell the support person and they should be able to
unlock your account

WHEN AMAZON BANS YOUR ACCOUNT (NOT ON HOLD, THE SOFT BAN)
If Amazon bans your account its most likely 2-hour ban which means you can still
order your stuff when you unlock your Amazon. Amazon banned you for 2 hours because
they thought it wasnt under your authorization. So after you unlock and order again
you should call/chat them and say that it was you ordering and you authorize the
order and dont want the order to get cancelled/account to get banned.
One important thing is sometimes Amazon lock your account for 72 hours but they
dont cancel your order. So simply go check your mobile Amazon app and if order is
still there then your order might get shipped even tho your Amazon is locked.

Amazon Unhold Method
Calling support
1) Find the Call Support number online and prepare your account details (Name,
Email, Phone nr, etc.).
2) Start the call by telling the rep that it seems your account was hacked and you
just got into it. You discovered that the account was on hold. Act confused.
3) The rep may ask for your billing information. Ask if the hacker has bought
something to get your account on hold. Tell them that you have no way of providing
proof that it is your card.
- The rep might ramble and talk for a bit -
4) Ask if they could tell an account specialist about what happened and why you
can't provide the information.
BE POLITE!
Once this is done it should take a few business days to get the account unlocked.
LIVE CHAT
1) Create a new Amazon account.
2) Contact support via live chat and tell them that your account is on hold.
3) The customer rep will ask for the locked accounts email.
4) The rep will tell you to attempt to log in to the locked account and "fill the
required information to regain access to your account".
5) Make up a reason why you can't do that. For example you don't trust it and would
rather complete the process with a real person instead.
- The point is to skip the automated process and do it via the live chat, push the
rep until he/she let's you do it. They eventually will. -
6) The rep will ask for some information (email, card number, billing info).
7) Once you have given them the information they will tell you that they will pass
the information to an account specialist and you will receive an email if the
account is unlocked.
