Currently, Bangladesh is going through a critical time. Due to
the recent incidents, the whole country is currently going
through a uneasy state. So, it is high time we try to correct and
improve our country in this vital moment. For that, we have
decided to solve one of the most basic yet important needs of
our people and that is the supply of food.
Below is an example of our current state:
Farmers
Small Buyers
Big Buyers
Commission Agents
Complicated Transport System
Retailers
Consumer
As we can see, there are too many factors as well as layers in our food
supply chain which results to various problems like:
1. Unstable of price distribution,
2. Delayed supply chain,
3. Distress from common folk,
4. Excessive commission charges,
5. Artificial food crisis
6. Wastage of food especially vegetables.
With our current supply chain, the worst sufferer are our farmers and
the common folk. As our farmers earn very little due to their lack of
information about the current market, on the other hand the price of
these goods increase due to the chain having so many steps. But those
middle man in supply chain reap all the profits. As a result, it has created
an imbalanced system.
To solve this problem we have to take proper steps. Currently, our
submitted proposal can be a good start up point towards this Revamp.
Our project makes sure that the problems mentioned above are resolved
with efficiency. The main purpose of our project is to reduce the number
of stakeholders as well as market sustainability.
To ensure that we will take these steps:
Stockpile goods directly from the farmers,
Get rid of any types of commission agent as well as other
middleman,
Reduce the amount of food wastage due to lack of experience,
Distribute the goods directly to the retail sellers and consumer.
To accomplish such a feat we have planned to divide our whole
project into two sectors. These are: Processing Point, Distribution
Point.
Processing Point
Receiving Goods: Goods are brought into the facility from
suppliers or manufacturers.
Quality Control: Items are checked for quality and any defects.
Packaging: Products are packaged or repackaged as needed.
Labeling: Items are labeled with the necessary information for
tracking and distribution.
Distribution Point
Sorting: Goods are sorted based on their destination.
Storage: Products are stored temporarily until they are ready for
shipment.
Loading: Items are loaded onto delivery vehicles.
Shipping: Goods are sent out to their respective locations, such as
retail stores or directly to customers.
To execute the project we need the things mentioned
below:
600 warehouses(Processing and Distribution
point)around the country,
Around 5000 vehicles
Around 30000 skiled and educated employ
Around 300000 fulltime stafs
A very effective and usefull project releted apps
Now we come to the main discussion, This is a
5000 core (BDT) project. So will any single person
invest 5000 cores? No single person can invest this
money even if he wants to. So where will this
money come from? Calm down if the plan is right
then the money will come automatically. To know
how effective this project is, first we need a pilot
program .
Let's first define what we need to
run a pilot project.
1. A distribution point should be opened in Dhaka city.
2. A processing point should be opened in any upazila of
Mymensingh.
3. A bunch of patriotic people are needed.
4. Some government agencies require permission.
5. Some government institutions need cooperation.
1. Top-Level Management
General Manager: Oversees the entire operation.
2. Departmental Heads
Production Manager: Responsible for the entire processing and packaging workflow.
Quality Assurance Manager: Ensures product quality and safety standards are met.
Logistics Manager: Handles transportation and supply chain management.
HR Manager: Manages staffing, training, and employee welfare.
Finance Manager: Manages budgets, salaries, and expenses.
3. Processing Units (Divided by Product Categories)
