Behavioral Event Interview Questions for Teacher-

Applicants

Teaching Ability
1. Tell me how did you go about teaching your learners during your
practice teaching/teaching experience in private school on being
learner-centered, how did you go about it, and what was the result?
2. Give a situation in your teaching experience during your practice
teaching/teaching experience in private school where you make the
topic meaningful to the learners, what were the steps undertaken, and
what was the result?
3. Cite an experience during your practice teaching/teaching experience
in the private school where you set ambitious goals to your learners
(give a specific example), what are the steps undertaken, and what
was the result?
4. Share an experience of your strategies during your practice
teaching/private school teaching experience in realizing the learners’
achievement on a specific topic, what were the activities you
employed, and what was the result?
5. Tell me an instance on how you kept your learners motivated in class
during your practice teaching/teaching in private school/teaching as
MLSB, how did go about it and what was the result?

Classroom Management
1. Tell me an instance during your practice teaching/teaching in private
school/teaching as MLSB of PLSB where your learners disarrange the
classroom, how did you manage to fix the learning environment, and
what was the result?
2. Cite an instance where you teach unmotivated learners in one class
during your practice teaching/teaching in private school/teaching as
MLSB or PLSB, what were your actions to shift the classroom
atmosphere, and what was the result?
3. Share your experience in the past where bullies inside the classroom
distract the class, what were the actions undertaken, and what was the
result?
4. Cite the instance where you explained the sitting arrangement of your
class during your practice teaching/teaching in private school/teaching
as MLSB or PLSB, what were the steps undertaken, and what was the
result?
5. Tell me how did you manage your class during your initial meeting
when you were a practice teacher/private school teacher/MLSB or PLSB
teacher, what were the strategies undertaken, and what was the
result?

School Fit
1. Cite an experience during your practice teaching/teaching in private
school/teaching as PLSB or MLSB where your opinion was opposed by a
teacher/parent/co-student teacher, how did you manage to handle it,
and what was the result?
2. Tell me your experience during your practice teaching where a parent
did not support his child in school, how did you deal with it, and what
was the result?
3. Tell me your experience where a parent was complaining about the
grades of his child, how did you explain it to the parent and what was
the result?
4. Share your experience during your practice teaching/teaching in
private school/teaching as PLSB or MLSB where you became a part of a
school activity, what was your role, and what was the outcome of your
contribution to the school activity?
5. Tell how you interacted with the principal/teaching/parents/in the
school where you taught as practice teacher/private school
teacher/MLSB or PLSB teacher, what were your strategies and what
was the result?

NOTE: The sample BEI questions can be contextualized based on the


present teaching-learning scenario in times of pandemic.
