VI. GRAND ENTRANCE OF THE COUPLE.

EATING OF SWEETS

Now we proceed to eating of the sweets. The newlyweds are served with sticky sweets as a
symbolism of sticking together through married life. And also, so that they could be always sweet
to each other.

And now, everyone let us all stand, clap our hands and dance in the music in the air as we
welcome our lovely couple. Simulan niyo na ang inyong road to forever. Give it up for Mr. and Mrs.
Jay and Rich! Music please.

Sige guys, put your hands in the air, iwagayway ang mga panyo o kamay niyo. Wow, wow, wow,
again let us give a hand to our lovely couple, bago kayo maupo baka naman since hindi na kami
pumunta ng simbahan baka pwedeng bigyan niyo kami ng pang malakasang kiss naman dyan.

Mga ilang seconds yan partner, baka pwedeng mga 10 seconds man lang, pwede ba yon guys?

WEDDING TRADITIONS

CAKE CUTTING

Right now, may we request our lovely couple to spearhead in the cutting of the wedding cake.
Cake cutting is considered the first task the newlyweds do together.

It also means that the couple are starting to do things as a married couple, the bride will hold the
knife while the groom lays his hand over her which symbolizes support.

The couple should cut a slice from the bottom of the cake to symbolize longevity of marriage. This
also symbolizes how devoted the couple is to caring for each other and sharing both the good
times and bad times in their marriage.

WELL WISHERS/MARITAL ADVISERS

Right now, it is important to start your journey together by listening some advices to important
people here right now who have actually mastered the key to successful marriage.

This is just one page of their book right, what’s yet to come is probably the ones that they should
be ready of. So may we please listen to the message of our well-wishers for today starting with:

PARENT’S MESSAGE

Now what would be more equally important than the message of the parents/guardians of the
bride and groom right.
May I call in for a lovely message for the couple from the side of the groom, Mam Amalia
Mariscotes.

Wow thank you so much for that wonderful message, now let us go to the side of the bride, may
we have a message from Mam Rizza R. Saberdo. Give her a hand please.

Thank you so much for your insights, sabi nga daw never go to bed angry with each other, I
disagree on that, don’t be afraid of arguments and fights because it is an integral part of marriage.

MESSAGE OF THE COUPLE TO THEIR PARENTS

Syempre naman hindi pwede magpahuli ang ating newlyweds, may we call in first our handsome
groom Kuya Lal for his message to their parents.

Thank you so much Sir. Now let me give the microphone to Ate Tet for her message.

THANKSGIVING PRAYER

Now here is the moment you all been waiting for, but before that let us first have a thanksgiving
prayer to be led to us by Mam Rizza R. Saberdo

LUNCH

Kenneth: God bless our food, enjoy your food everyone. Btw, just a short reminder only. Please
stay for a while with us is that okay because we still have activities after the lunch, it is okay with
you.

WINE TOASTING CEREMONY:

Now we proceed with the wine toasting ceremony, the couple will drink wine with their hands held
together as a symbol of their unity and oneness.

Okay, the groom will pour the wine on their glass as a symbol of being the provider of the family.
Cheers to the lovely couple.

The wine will be passed to our Ninong and Ninangs and all of us here to be assisted by the maid
of honor and the bestman. As we drink the wine, we share the love and blessing to our lovely
couple.

WEDDING DANCE

May we request first the mother together with our groom for their wedding dance, may we also
request the brother together with the bride for their wedding dance.

Now let us proceed to their first wedding dance as a couple, it is the said in the bible that sooner or
later in life, the groom will leave his family, the bride will also leave her family, and the two of them
will become one in God.

Again, let us clap our hands to our married couple. Now it would be great if we will bless their
lovely marriage with prosperity, abundance and wealth, pantomina music play mo na yan.

(PANTOMINA MUSIC FOR ABOUT 1 HOUR) – Adlib on the way.

Thank you so much everyone. Palakpakan naman natin ang ating married couple. May we request
our maid of honor and best man to help us count kung ilan ang nalikom ng ating couple today.
TRADITIONAL WEDDING GAMES

Okay, we move now to my favorite part of the program. Magkakaroon po tayo ng simple games
lang naman po. Let us proceed first to our first ceremonial game.

REMOVAL OF GARTER – KUYA LAL (WITH A TWIST)

May we request our handsome groom to be with me right now, alam mo na ang gagawin mo sir.
Kailangan mong matanggal ang garter ni misis mo. Pero with a twist.

BOUQUET TOSS

Now let us proceed to the traditional tossing of the bouquet to be spearheaded by our lovely bride.
May we request all the lovely single ladies to be here in front, Malay niyo kayo ang susunod na
ikakasal.

THANK YOU, SPEECH, OF THE COUPLE

Now our lovely couple would like to say something to all of us that are here. If you sure want to go
home early probably you will miss that after this program, we will have a live band and party.

Let us first hear some words of gratitude and message from our handsome groom, Sir Jay.

Thank you, sir. Now let us hear the message of our lovely bride, Mam Rich.

Thank you, couples, may you be blessed with more in life. Sana magkaroon kayo ng isang
dosenang anak.

CLOSING SPILL

Yoooown! The big day has come and gone. “I do was said”. Tears were shed. The cake was cut.
The bride and groom looked real pretty and happy. True love stories have never endings.

To Kuya Lal and Ate Matet, happily ever after starts now. You two are locked in for life! I am so
proud that these two people had finally met their match.

It is true that when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the
rest of your life to start as soon as possible.

Congratulations to the newlyweds, thanks everyone who worked hard to make this happen.
Blessed be everyone who has shared their precious time in this ceremonial matrimony. I am John
Kenneth Q. Recuenco. Enjoy the rest of the day.
