Premium Cold Calling Script for SDRs

1. Cold Call Opener


You: Hey [First Name], this is Nakib — can you hear me alright?
(Wait — give them space to respond)
You: I know I’m calling out of the blue — do you have a quick minute? I'll keep this very
short and respectful of your time.
(If yes, continue. If no, ask: “No worries — would there be a better time to reach you?”)

2. If They Say “Yes” / “Go Ahead” / “Maybe”


You: Appreciate that —
The reason I’m reaching out is because I work with founders and service providers who are
trying to build out their product or offer — especially early-stage builders who need help
creating their MVP or validating their idea without spending tens of thousands on agencies.
Just curious — is that something you're working on or planning soon?

3. Common Objections + Human Responses


“I’m not interested”
You: Totally fair — I appreciate the honesty. If it ever comes up later or you meet someone
building something, feel free to keep me in mind. Have a great day, [First Name].

“We already have a dev team / agency”


You: That’s great — sounds like you’ve got something going. A lot of the people we speak
with also have teams, but reach out for faster prototyping or more affordable early builds.
No worries at all though — if you’re all set, I won’t keep you.

“Can you send me something?”


You: Sure, I can share a quick overview. But honestly — it only makes sense if we have a
short call so you can see if it fits your situation. Would you be open to a quick 15-minute
chat sometime this week?

“What’s this about exactly?”

4. Closing for the Meeting

If they hang up: Move on. No energy wasted. It's not personal.
If they’re rude:
