Instructions: With a partner, answer TWO of the following questions. Make your discussions brief and to
the point. Discuss with your partner; do not just rely on Al applications or simply copy from internet
sources. Kindly copy the question before providing your answer. Write legibly.

A. Why is conflict management important in an organization? How can a leader handle conflicts
effectively? (15 points)

Conflict management is important in an organization because it helps to have a productive and positive
environment. Without conflicts, members can work and focus on their different tasks rather than the
issue or conflict. Focusing on the solution rather than the problem or blame, listening to both sides,
knowing the root of the problem, and active listening with empathy are some ways for a leader to
handle conflict effectively.

C. What do you think is/are the importance of giving feedbacks among the team members? How should
a leader deliver his/her feedbacks? (15 points

It strengthens the relationship and helps the members to feel valued, leading to commitment, good
performance, and work retention. A leader should deliver his/her feedback through balanced positivity
and constructive criticism, consider the place and the emotions, use two-way communication, use "I"
statements, and focus on behavior, not personality.
