Quiz Bee Mechanics

• The coverage of the quiz bee ranges across Social Studies subjects such as
History, Geography, Philosophy, Contemporary Arts, Economics, Current
Events, Politics, Personal Development, etc.
• There will be a separate quiz bee for Grade 11 and 12 students.
• Each class will choose one representative to join the quiz bee as endorsed by
the adviser.
Quiz Bee Mechanics

• There will be 5 questions per round; Easy, Average, and Difficult, with
corresponding point(s):
• Easy Round - 1pt.
• Average Round - 2 pts.
• Difficult Round - 3pts.
Quiz Bee Mechanics
• Participants should prepare/have the following:
- Stable internet connectivity
- Whiteboard or illustration board
- Whiteboard marker or chalk
- Eraser
• The quiz bee will be conducted via Google Meet. Cameras and microphone
should be turned on at all times.

• Each team will be given 5 seconds for the Easy and Average round, and 10
seconds for the Difficult round to write their answers.
• The Quiz Master will ask the team to stop writing and raise their answers.
• Wait for the cue when to bring down your boards.
Quiz Bee Mechanics

• Any contestation shall be raised by the team before proceeding to the next
question.
• The Quiz Bee Committee shall evaluate and give decisions in cases of queries
and complains.
• In case of a tie, there will be a clincher round which is composed of three (3)
questions that corresponds to one point each.
Quiz Bee Mechanics
• The student who gets the highest point after the 15 questions shall be declared
the winner.
• E-certificates will be given to all the participants and cash prizes for winners
which are as follows:
• First Place - P500
• Second Place - P300
• Third Place - P200
• Fourth and Fifth Place - P100 each
