Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) Fast Track
One day on campus. The rest online.
With our fast-track option for Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), you can take most courses online and come to campus just one day a week — either Wednesday or Thursday for your lab.
Spend Wednesdays on campus for lab and complete the rest of your courses online.

Medical Laboratory Technicians are a critical component of a functioning healthcare facility. Our graduates work under the supervision of physicians, lab managers or lab technologists to conduct lab tests on specimens. The work they do behind-the-scenes helps doctors detect diseases or illnesses and determine treatment options.

Spring Start Scholarship
Spring Start Scholarship is available to all students starting their school year at Washington State College of Ohio during the Spring 2026 semester. This includes new students and any student continuing their education after not attending during the Fall 2025 term. Scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis. The scholarship is for one semester and for tuition only.
For consideration, students must submit the following by January 4, 2026:

Associate Degree Nursing (ADN)
Registered Nurses provide ongoing patient care and support, promote healthy lifestyles, and coordinate all aspects of patient care in acute and long-term care facilities, as well as other community settings. The Associate Degree Nursing program offers both educational and career mobility.

Practical Nursing (PN)
Practical Nurses collaborate with Registered Nurses and physicians in the planning and delivery of direct nursing care in acute and long-term care facilities as well as other community settings. The Certificate of Practical Nursing Education provides classroom and clinical experiences to prepare graduates to become exemplary members of the healthcare team.

Respiratory Therapy Technology (RESP)
Respiratory therapists help people who suffer from chronic respiratory diseases. They play a crucial role in treating and caring for a variety of cardiopulmonary illnesses. In its annual job rankings, U.S. News and World Report lists respiratory therapy as No. 6 in healthcare and No. 16 among the top 100 careers overall.

Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)
Occupational therapy assistants use therapeutic interventions to facilitate recovery of clients and patients, so that they can return to functional and independent living. They use their skills to help them recover, improve and maintain their abilities in the areas of daily living skills, home management, school and work. Occupational therapy assistants spend much of their time on their feet, setting up equipment and providing occupational therapy to their clients.
