Clocks will move forward by one hour in the early hours of Sunday, 29 March at 3am.
The shift, which helps make evenings brighter, takes place simultaneously across all EU member states.
While Finland continues to favour scrapping the biannual clock change, all EU member states have to be on the same page for the practice to stop.
The European Commission wants to repeal the daylight-saving directive.
Transport and Tourism commissioner Apóstolos Tzitzikostas launched a review earlier this year to assess the EU-wide impact of changing the clocks.
The findings are expected by the end of the year, after which the Commission will consider next steps.
