The design team here at NMC recently gathered to watch the Figma conference, Config, virtually! We’re excited for the new features, which include smoother vector editing with Figma Draw, simpler photo editing with the new AI tools, and enhanced auto-layout capabilities and responsive layouts using Figma Grid. Here’s some of our favorite takeaways: → "Creativity is messy and unstructured. Slow down and accept the chaos." -Inga Hampton → "An effortless and fluid result takes a lot of strategy and craft behind the scenes." -Jay Lee & Ellen McGirt → "Be intentional about using your creativity bandwidth at the right spots." -Becca Ramos

An award winning, full service digital agency that crafts purpose driven digital solutions for clients around the world.
About us
We are a full-service, award-winning web design, development, and marketing agency. We pride ourselves on our unique ability to serve a diverse range of clients and projects, from Fortune 500 brands and international programs to new startups and local non-profits. With each project, we take a client-focused approach and use design and technology to solve your most critical problems. We start by getting to know you and your organization. Your goals, conversion points, and inspiration drive the design of the project and technical solution that we build with you, together. New Media Campaigns was launched in 2006 after the founders met at the University of North Carolina. We are independent and without any outside funding. Our growth has been driven almost exclusively by the referrals and recommendations of our wonderful clients. We are now a team of sixteen with individual talent spanning design, front-end development, back-end development, and strategy. For a team of our size, we are unique in our technical depth, both back-end and front-end. That work has been recognized by publications around the world, and we continue to contribute with our side projects and open sourced tools. We take great pride in the quality of our team and have worked to maintain its strength and consistency over the years. We are all here to build a long term relationship with you and make sure we're using design and technology to achieve your goals.

We recently launched a website and brand for Energy Ready, a new organization designed to encompass three clean energy designation programs: SolSmart, Charging Smart, and Distributed Wind Smart. Funded by the U.S. Department of Energy, Energy Ready's free programs help local governments navigate the growth of clean energy solutions in their communities. In addition to building a balanced visual direction, goals for the project included appealing to multiple target audiences and creating a streamlined experience for communities to ultimately pursue multiple designations. We carried those goals through the logo design, an initial splash site, and the final web presence by incorporating features like an interactive map and filterable posts to encourage users to customize their digital experience. In the spirit of reflection, we’re taking a look back at 2024 – by the numbers! This year, we launched 57 new sites across multiple industries and topic areas, and built custom features like interactive maps, filterable feeds, and dynamic animations. We also spent time growing together as a team at 4 continuing education events, 5 team workshops, and dozens of company outings. And with the addition of project manager Nicole Zack, our team grew to 19 strong. It was a great year full of exciting projects and partnerships.
