Suspected sockpuppets

Not sure if a CU is needed as this is DUCK in my opinion but requesting one for sleepers. User:HarshalDhotre06 created account in August 2023 and has only 127 edits as of this filing. Their first edit was to Draft:Ranjith Sajeev, two minutes after it was created by user:Sai Nivedh Sai. Note that it would be a miracle for two new users to find the exact same draft within 3 minutes unless they are MEAT or SOCK. Note that user HarshaDhotre06 was previously filed under this SPI. What caught my attention is their contentious behavior (not only in the linked SPI but in AfD discussions). Looking closer, I see they created the page Makoons in March of this year. Note that Makoons and variations of it have been deleted multiple times after being attempted by this sock farm. The contentious behavior is similar to the other socks who have left talk page messages in an aggressive manner. Assuming they are using a proxy with the type of boldness they display but clear DUCK in my opinion. Pinging @GSS: who may have more information as well. Note similar user name as user:MathewSymonds24 who previously tried to created one of the Makoons pages and is now blocked. The Makoons pages were obvious UPE. --CNMall41 (talk) 18:51, 16 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Well, this is definitely an undisclosed paid editor. I filed an SPI last time based on their edits, where they added a spam link to noblie.eu, a commercial website selling knives. To my surprise, they are still doing the same thing and cited the same site today see this. GSS 💬 10:38, 17 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@CNMall41: Yeah, that's true, but he seem to have a connection with the author of Laura Jarjour as well. I tried to find them, but there is no trace. Here's why I suspect a connection: someone created Laura Jarjour in January, and on the 19th of that month, the article was moved to the draft namespace. On the same day, HarshalDhotre06 uploaded File:Laura in 2021.png, which was later deleted due to copyright issues. Just two days later, HD06 moved the draft to the main namespace, which sounds suspicious. Therefore, I would like to request an admin to review the deleted version of "Laura Jarjour" and check HarshalDhotre06 against its author as well. GSS 💬 18:40, 21 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Don't get me wrong. I wasn't saying this was ONLY a COIN issue. I agree a CU is needed. What I meant is COIN may be a quicker avenue since SPI has quite a bit of backlog. The adding of spam references is disturbing in my opinion. --CNMall41 (talk) 18:47, 21 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

HarshalDhotre06, you mentioned that you created the article for Laura, but upon reviewing your article creation history, I couldn't find it listed there for some strange reason. That's the reason for my suspicion. GSS 💬 04:01, 22 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Just got to know one more SPI case against me, well let me clear this out, Makoons I created and had disclosed that it was COI, their owner asked me to write on Wikipedia. And about adding Noblie links, after GSS said not spam I didn’t do it. I have nothing to with later creations or before. And I’ve stopped doing COI articles, currently focused on maintenance area, adding links, AFD, Creating articles (I WILL NOT DOING until 2K edits with more indepth policy knowledge.) I’m not using any VPN/Proxy about First edit I genuinely dont remember how I found it, I didn’t create the draft, even if I had anything with draft I would have not removed the link instead I would have corrected it. I’ve no other account. I may have involved into blocked user’s articles, or SOCK’s. Unknowingly. Because I can’t see the old creators of deleted articles. EntrepreneurPedia came to my notice because they filed Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/BukitBintang8888. I was pondering how to get rid of the filing, deleting or closing, and then reviewed EP's edits. There is some article intersection between EP and other socks. The userpages of EP and other socks are very similar. The edit summaries are similar. EP was created on the same day as the last CU results were posted in the archive. Apart from the connections between EP and other socks, EP's edits are not those of a new editor. There's not enough here for me to block based only on behavior, so I am requesting a check.
