Bohra Fried Fish
A unique and delicious take on fried fish. This recipe is a specialty of Karachi's Bohra Community. It is different from regular fried fish, and is quite similar to a croquette. It is usually served as a delightful appetizer or snack at Family dinners and Parties.

Ingredients

- Pangasius fish, fillets½ KG
- Garlic paste1 teaspoon
- Saltto taste
- Red chili powder1 teaspoon
- Lemon juice1 tablespoon
- Egg1
- Vinegar1 tablespoon

- Bread crumbs1 cup
- Saltto taste
- Chili flakes1 teaspoon
- Oilfor frying
Preparation
- In a bowl add garlic paste, salt, red chili powder, lemon juice, egg, vinegar and whisk well.
- Now add the fillets in the mixture and coat well.
- Cover and it marinate for 30 minutes.
- Combine breadcrumbs with salt, chili flakes and mix.
- Now coat the marinated fish fillets in the crumbs.
- Heat oil in a wok and fry until golden brown.
- Take out on a tissue paper so that the excess oil is soaked. Serve it with your favourite dip.
