Hi @hbarcelos. The maintainer of this project is not available, see issue #66. So i think we could work in my fork. When the translation is done we send a pull request to this repo.

We are going to do the translation in a file calledREADME-pt-BR.md. Also you can translate whole sections or just some sentences, it`s your choice.

I am struggling to find a good translation to the word worker in the Application Layer Section

Should i keep the original word (worker) ?
Should i try to explain what a (worker) is ?

I think worker is a well known jargon in Software Engineering and has no perfect translation.
Also, since this repo targets more experienced engineers that want to become system architects, I believe there's no need to define what a worker is.

What the rest of you think?

@hbarcelos, this content targets more experienced engineers but it can also be very very useful to rookies developers. My sugestion is to just hyperlink word worker to some url with good content about. For example: https://developers.google.com/web/fundamentals/getting-started/primers/service-workers?hl=pt-br
