Zanen Ra'ayi wato Impressionism wani salo ne na zane da akayi a ƙarni na 19 wanda akeyi da ƙananan, siraran buroshi, masu buɗaɗɗun bayanai, tare da mayar da hankali akan ainihin haske na yanayi tare da sauyin yanayi (sukan nuna wucewar lokacin misali, rana da yini), ainihin abubuwan da ke faruwa, daga saƙo daban daban, tare da amfani da zurga-zurga a matsayin muhimmin al'amari na mutane da ra'ayoyin su, Zanen Impressionism ya samo asali ne daga wani kungiyar masu zane na kasar Parisa,[1] wanda kasuwar baje kolinsu na hotuna ya janyo masu shahara a tsakanin shekarun 1870s da 1880s.
Masu ra'ayin Zanen Ra'ayi sun fuskanci suka mai tsanani daga kungiyoyin wasu mazana na kasar Faransa. Sunan salon ya samo asali ne daga lakabin aikin Claude Monet, Impression, soleil levant ( Impression, Sunrise ), wanda ya sa mai suka Louis Leroy ya ƙaddamar da kalmar a cikin wani bita na satirical da aka buga a jaridar Parisian Le Charivari . Ci gaban Zanen Ra'ayi a cikin zane-zane ba da daɗewa ba ya samu goyon baya daga wasu kafofin watsa labarai waɗanda suka zama sanannun wakokin ra'ayi da wallafe-wallafen ra'ayi .
