Dominus Ioannes
Dominus Ioannes[1](Hispanice Don Juan, Italiane Don Giovanni) est celeberrimus ganeo fictus, cuius historia persaepe a permultis auctoribus enarrata est. El burlador de Sevilla y convidado de piedra ('Fraudator Sevillae et Hospes Lapideus') Thyrsi de Molina est ludus saeculo quarto decimo situs, in Hispania circa 1630 prolatus, quem indicia subiciunt esse primum textum legendi Domini Ioannis. Inter opera litteraria de hac persona hodie notissima sunt Dom Juan ou le Festin de pierre Molière (1665); Don Juan, carmen epicum Domini Byron (1821); El estudiante de Salamanca, poema Iosephi de Espronceda (1840); et Don Juan Tenorio, ludus Iosephi Zorrilla (1844). Cum ludo Zorrillensi (quotannis die 2 Novembris per mundum Hispanico-loquentem? iam perfunctum), celeberrima fabula conversa probabiliter est Don Giovanni, opera Wolfgangi Amadei Mozart, libello Laurentii da Ponte, primo Pragae anno 1787 data (Chassanaeo ipse probabiliter inter audientes), atque ipse fons consilii pro operibus E. T. A. Hoffmann, Alexandri Pushkin, Severini Kierkegaard, Georgii Bernardi Shaw, Alberti Camus, et aliorum.
Nomen Dominus Ioannes "mulierizatori"? saepe in sermonibus hodiernis adhibetur, praecipue in slang Hispanico, et nomen Dominus Ioannesismus aliquando satyriasi adhibetur.
