Koki Ogawa (小川 航基, Ogawa Koki, born August 8, 1997) is a Japanese football player. He played for the Japan national team.
Biography
[change | change source]Ogawa was born in Yokohama on August 8, 1997. After graduating from Toko Gakuen High School, he joined J1 League club Júbilo Iwata in 2016. However he could not play many matches and he moved to J2 League club Mito HollyHock in July 2019. He scored 7 goals in 17 matches. In 2020, he returned to Iwata which was relegated to J2 from the 2020 season.
In 2017, Ogawa was selected the Japan U-20 national team for 2017 U-20 World Cup. At this tournament, he scored a goal against South Africa in first match. However, because he was injured in the second match against Uruguay, he could not play in later matches. In December 2019, he was selected the Japan national team for 2019 E-1 Football Championship. At this tournament, he debuted and scored a hat-trick against Hong Kong on December 14.
