When it comes to supporting categories I very rarely stray from the top three shows if enough actors from them are submitted. I expect just a bunch of Severance, White Lotus, and Last of Us actors with 1 or 2 people from other shows (Lowden and Janney probably).

Yeah those three are just kind of too obviously dominant for me. I also think three shows is enough for people to more or less not feel like they have to spread the wealth much more, especially when TWL has a new cast and the other two haven’t won in this category.
Fwiw the person I was thinking of bumping out for Nicholson wasn’t even a TWL lady lmao (it was Arquette lol, but I’ll probably swap back soon).
In case Nicholson really takes off though, I wanted those good odds for her lol.

I don’t mind people predicting elsewhere and I think in an ideal world the race would be more open! But I’ve also been the person too many times underpredicting the dominance of shows, usually incorrectly.
really just a me rant but Max launching in Australia between episode 7 and 8 of The White Lotus and with five weeks notice (at a price they don’t want to advertise as of yet) feels so unnecessarily annoying.

It would be pretty weird for severance to get a better haul than last season and be competitive while missing Arquette. I don’t think a show that did better vs its previous season ever lost on a nomination like this.

Arquette’s going to be hurt somewhat by the lack of screentime and the new rule but honestly, her record is pretty great, in a show that strong, she should be fine.
Walken being dropped for Tillman or Cherry would make more sense.
I’m starting to doubt Squid Game will even be filler lol, feels like it came and went and now nobody’s talking about it.
What gives me pause is that they are releasing season 3 in June so it might give them a boost.
