Alicia Keys, DaBaby, Karol G, Jack Harlow, and Tate McRae will perform at the MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs).
MTV unveiled the additions to the annual event’s performer lineup on Tuesday. The ViacomCBS network also said that Bebe Rexha, Rita Ora, Madison Beer, Brazilian superstar Anitta, supermodel Winnie Harlow, and WWE wrestler Roman Reigns will make “special appearances” throughout the global music celebration, which is set to air on Sunday, Nov. 8.
Keys in September released her seventh studio album ALICIA, while hip hop star DaBaby will have his first EMAs performance following the release of his album Blame It on Baby. He is nominated for four MTV EMAs, as is Karol G.
McRae and Harlow are making their MTV EMAs debut and are both nominated in the category “best push,” with Harlow also in the running for the “best new” honor.
Madison Beer, Why Don’t We and 24kGoldn will kick off the MTV EMAs with performances during what the network calls a “pre-game” show.
Lady Gaga leads the nominations for this year’s EMAs with seven nods, including in the best artist, best pop and best video categories. BTS and Justin Bieber each received five nominations, including in such categories as best pop and “biggest fans.”
The two-hour 2020 MTV EMAs will air globally on MTV in 180 countries and territories.
