He has been an influential figure in the film industry, starring in many projects that strayed away from social expectations. Turner Classic Movies (TCM) has linked up with Fandango to add 30 classic films from the TCM catalog to the ticketing service’s streaming platform, Fandango at Home, as Deadline reports. All 30 films are available for purchase or rental now, and select films will be available to stream for free, rotating on a weekly basis.

Including iconic flicks like Rebel Without a Cause, The Dirty Dozen, and Cool Hand Luke, the first round of free movies is set to arrive later this week, with the promotion extending through May.

The new partnership arrives ahead of the 15th anniversary of the TCM Classic Film Festival, which is set to take place from April 18th to April 21st. As part of the initiative, Fandango is a presenting sponsor for the upcoming event.

VOD streaming outlet Fandango at Home, formerly known as Vudu, has set a new partnership with Turner Classic Movies.

In addition to offering TCM titles available for rental or purchase on demand, the new digital storefront will allow viewers to watch a rotation of 30 titles available for free through the end of May. The first batch of films will arrive later this week, with the storefront’s free offerings then refreshed each week.

The free streaming initiative is tied to the 15th anniversary of the TCM Classic Film Festival. During this year’s edition, which runs April 18 to 21, Fandango at Home is setting up a “living room” promotional space at the Tcl Chinese on Hollywood Boulevard.

The two companies said a new partnership takes effect today. AMC Theatres On Demand users can transfer their account to Vudu, where they can continue to rent and buy films or watch titles already in their library.

Vudu, the premier video-on-demand streaming service from Fandango, now serves as the official new streaming platform for AMC Theatres On Demand consumers.

Starting today, AMC Theatres On Demand users can transfer their account to Vudu, where they can continue to rent and purchase premium entertainment and watch their catalog of previously acquired movies.

As part of the service, "every AMC Theatres on Demand consumer has access to more than 200,000 new release and catalog movies and TV shows to rent or buy, including the largest collection of 4K Uhd titles and thousands of titles to watch for free – all with no subscription required," the company revealed.

To celebrate the big move, many of the movies previously purchased through AMC Theatres On Demand will be upgraded to the highest quality format available on Vudu, including 4K Ultra HD.

AMC On Demand looks to be closing its doors for good. The service that allows users to rent and purchase movies that are still in AMC movie theaters has announced it is migrating all AMC On Demand users to Vudu, which will become their official streaming destination going forward. On Monday, Dec. 18, the 73-year-old Wall Street star’s son Cameron Douglas and his girlfriend Viviane Thibes welcomed their first child together — a daughter named Lua Izzy!

“Since Viviane has given birth to a beautiful healthy girl on Monday afternoon, I’ve been at their side ever since,” the new dad tells People. “I’m very happy.”
