Always a smile and always enjoyed seeing him over the years in so many different aspects of paths crossed. You are at peace.

Wally was a character from a generation that will never be again. He reminded me a lot of my Father who grew up in the same time period dealing with the depression, diseases that are now easily remedied, limited jobs, fought in the same war in different arenas, my Dad was in the Pacific, and dealt with it as many warriors do. In silence. Repeating the amusing stories, none of the horrors of war. Offering a helping hand rather than swinging a hand with a stick.

We met after Jerry and Gail purchased the place next to ours and put in a trotting track for Wally and Arty. Fantastic neighbors. Both of my Daughters got rides around the track with Wally and Arty. They still talk about it. Both were sadden by his passing, but then quickly remembered the time with him and smiled. As we all did.

Wally was a true Human Being. We wish him a pleasant journey, sitting behind his trotter.
