India BioImaging (IBI) Annual Meeting 2025 | JSS AHER Mysuru | 11–12 December 2025
The past week felt like stepping into a shared microscope field—where ideas, people, and perspectives came into sharp focus together. The India BioImaging Annual Meeting 2025 was not just an event or a report of progress; it was a living map of how the bioimaging community in India is learning, growing, and connecting with the world.
I was grateful for the opportunity to present the #Core Imaging Facility (CIF), Shiv Nadar University, School of Natural Sciences, Shiv Nadar University , Department of Life Sciences, Shiv Nadar University, poster and to moderate some sessions, engaging in thoughtful discussions that illuminated both challenges and possibilities.

A special highlight was the strong global presence, including Antje Keppler (Euro-BioImaging and Global BioImaging), and Aastha Mathur (foundingGIDE) from Euro-BioImaging, and the renewal of the MoU between Euro-BioImaging and India BioImaging—a reminder that collaboration, like imaging, becomes more powerful when boundaries fade.
Always a pleasure to exchange ideas with Antje Keppler and Aastha Mathur—and we missed you in person, Yara Reis, though your virtual presence and talk were truly impactful.
My sincere thanks to India BioImaging (IBI) and Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) for the travel grant, and heartfelt appreciation to the IBI team and JSS AHER for hosting a meeting that was both intellectually rigorous and genuinely warm.
Grateful as well to Shiv Nadar University, Dean (SNS) Prof. Sanjeev Galande, HoD (DLS) Prof. Prasun Kumar Roy, the #CIF Facility Committee (Dr. Koyeli Mapa, Richa Priyadarshini, Rudra Nayan Das), and Prof. Colin Jamora for their constant guidance and support.
Finally, deep appreciation to all speakers, moderators, participants, and industry partners whose contributions made this meeting a success. Congratulations to all poster and travel award recipients and to every facility manager working tirelessly behind the scenes.
India BioImaging (IBI) continues to bring the community into clearer focus—strengthening core facilities, empowering imaging scientists, and building bridges across the globe. I’m grateful to have walked a small but meaningful part of this journey.
