With the Celtics unlikely to grab the one-seed from the Cavaliers, the focus for the final week of the regular season will likely be ensuring that their key players are healthy for the playoffs. Despite Sunday’s game not being part of a back-to-back, Tatum and Brown aren’t guaranteed to play. If either sits, Al Horford will likely move into the starting lineup, with Sam Hauser and Payton Pritchard taking on enhanced roles within the rotation.

The lone concern for fantasy managers who have White rostered is Sunday’s game against the Wizards, as that could be seen as an opportunity to give him a night off. Boston is essentially locked into the two-seed in the East, so resting up for the postseason may be the priority the rest of the way.

Porzingis took an inadvertent elbow to the face from Cody Martin early in the fourth quarter of Friday’s game. The need for stitches kept the Unicorn’s minutes down, but he was in good spirits while being taken to the locker room. If Porzingis is limited or cannot play in Sunday’s game against the Wizards, Al Horford (seven points, three rebounds, two assists, one block and one three-pointer in 25 minutes) would be the primary beneficiary.

While Tatum had a rough night from long distance, shooting 1-of-8 beyond the arc, he was 8-of-10 from two-point range, with six of those makes occurring in the restricted area as he consistently forced his way to the basket. The result was a 50 percent night from the field and a complete stat line for Tatum, who has been close to a top-25 player in eight-cat formats over the past two weeks. His season-long value remains high heading into Boston’s final game of Week 22 on Sunday against the Wizards.

Initially questionable for Friday’s game with a knee injury, Brown looked healthy against the Suns. He shot 6-of-10 from the field in the first half, setting the tone in a game where the reigning champs won all four quarters. Over the past two weeks, Brown has only been an eighth-round player in eight-cat formats, due mainly to his limited defensive production. However, he’s shot over 50 percent from the field during this run, so efficiency on that end of the floor has not been an issue for the Celtics wing.
