A carefree lakeside vacation is interrupted by the re-emergence of killer Jason Voorhees (Ted White). After he escapes from a morgue, leaving bodies in his wake, Jason travels to Camp Crystal Lake where a group of friends is staying. The teens meet some locals: Tommy (Corey Feldman) and Trish (Kimberly Beck), as well as secretive hiker Rob (Erich Anderson). As the group of teenagers engages in drunken debauchery, their numbers begin to dwindle, and pieces of the past resurface.

I loved the movie! Friday the 13th is a classic! I did not appreciate the intro as it gave away kills from the movie. It was a fun and informative piece but would have appreciated if they did a short intro and showed it after the credits.

Great classic slasher. Easily one of the best in a franchise that has a lot of dull outings. Story leaves a bit to be desired, but it's very entertaining throughout. Lots of great kills and effects by Savini. Highly recommend to those that enjoy the slasher genre.

Final Chapter ?? It was nice to know that back in 1984 Paramount thought it was ready to move on. Before his big send off, Jason does alot of damage in some brutal scenes, Of the sequels I've watched, this one has a lot more nudity, and has alot of famous people in the cast, Overall, i wasn't bored, But I wasn't scared either.
