IPL 2025 Schedule
The tentative dates for the IPL seasons from 2025 to 2027 were shared with franchises before the 2025 auction, with the 2025 edition initially set for 14 March to 25 May. However, to allow for a gap of two weeks following the ICC Champions Trophy final on March 9, the start date was moved to March 21 in January 2025. This adjustment caused an overlap with the 2025 Pakistan Super League, which was rescheduled to run from 11 April to 25 May.
The BCCI confirmed on 13 February that the season opener would take place on 22 March at Eden Gardens, featuring Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The final will be held in Kolkata, with Hyderabad hosting Qualifier 1 and the Eliminator, while Qualifier 2 and the championship match will take place in Kolkata.
