Two years after reality TV’s biggest cheating scandal made him one of the most hated men in America, Tom Sandoval emerged from the shadows for season three of The Traitors. Over the last few months, audiences watched Vanderpump Rules’s Sandoval traipse around a Scottish castle trying to convince 22 other players that he’s a Faithful through and through. The cheating jokes were obvious and plenty, but he walked away from the experience with a little more public goodwill than before. Now, the Bravo villain tells Us Weekly that he’s ready to leave Scandoval “in the past,” and, once and for all, he’s “sorry … very much so.”

“Whether people agree with me or not, that’s on them. But it has been an extremely rough backlash, and I understand,” the 42-year-old said. “Obviously, I want people to move on. Ariana has moved on, I’ve moved on, we’re all moving on.”

“I knew I’d get a lot of mixed reactions,” Sandoval added of his time on the show, insisting that “the hate has died down for sure.” With that in mind, he’s apparently fine with everyone making fun of his poor humming skills: “Whether they’re laughing with me [or] laughing at me, at least they’re laughing, and that’s what I love.” Alrighty then!
