European Youth Event 2023

Hallo JCornelius, die Kategorie European Youth Event 2023 zählt mittlerweile fast 400 Dateien und ich wollte dich bitten, mal reinzuschauen, ob du irgendwelche MEPs identifizieren kannst? Mas o que é que se passa com Category:Portuguese locomotive 2611 e Category:Portuguese locomotive type 2611?! Apagste o nome certo (sem redirecionmento!) e criaste mais um nome errado, a juntar ao monte de nomes errados análogos criados anteriormente por quem parece não entender nem de comboios portugueses nem de inglês: Esta é a locomotiva individual número 2611, que é parte da série (=tipo) 2600-2612. @Tuvalkin: : Bom dia, boa tarde, boa noite, obrigado por tua mensagem carinhosa. Olha, quando criei as sub-categorias para as locomotivas individuais fiquei justamente na dúvida sobre isso. Mas como já temos subcategorias para locomotivais individuais seguindo o mesmo esquema (série 1400, série 4700, série 5600, série 6000) há 10 (!) anos, até com contribuição tua, quis seguir esse esquema invez de quebrá-lo ou usar um outro. Independemente, concordo linguisticamente contigo nesse caso e apreciaria teu apoio e ajuda. Queres-me ajudar em mudar todas as sub-categorias das locomotivais individuais e tirar o type da nome? Não tenho o mínimo problema em mudar isso, mas a regra deveria-se aplicar a todas as categorias, e não só a da 2611. Obrigado. --Jcornelius (talk) 20:26, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Concordo em tudo, e desculpa a rudeza. Sim, no passado contribuí para este estado de coisas, alinhando no status quo por falta de vagar para discutir e corrigir. O q me chamou à atenção neste caso do 2611 foi ter-se mudado de certo para errado, q é pior q deixar errado, ou mesmo q ajuntar novo ao errado. Já que concordas, vou avançar para uma mudança generalizada, passando de tipo para número, mantendo "type" apenas para as séries, não para números individuais. (Creio q se passa o mesmo nas categorias sobre material circulnte doutros países — trabalho para ser feito mais tarde, após discussão.) -- Tuválkin ✉ ✇ 03:57, 11 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Tuvalkin: Olha, acho que agora todas locomotivas identificáveis por número tem uma categoria. Fotas das locomotivas que não são identificaveis ficaram nas categorias principais das séries.
Criando as categorias fiquei pensando se não faria sentido criar uma categoria Portuguese locomotives by individual number (ou algo assim) para juntar todas essas categorias individuais das locomotivas Portuguesas. O que e que achas? --Jcornelius (talk) 18:21, 16 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

TIFF/JPEG

Hallo Jcornelius, ich habe ein paar dupe-speedies von dir zurückgesetzt, weil wir TIFF- und JPEG-Versionen vom selben Bild üblicherweise behalten, da TIFF im Unterschied zu JPEG halt lossless komprimiert ist, JPEG dagegen einfacher von der Handhabung ist. --Túrelio (talk) 06:38, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Wiki Loves Monuments 2024 - Deutschland

Sieger 2023 – Marksburg im Winter

bald ist es soweit: Vom 1. bis zum 30. September 2024 findet zum 14. Mal der internationale Wettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments (WLM) statt. Dabei können Bau-, Boden- und Kulturdenkmale fotografiert und die Fotos hochgeladen werden. Du hast an einem der vergangenen Fotowettbewerbe teilgenommen. Deshalb laden wir dich gern wieder ein, dieses Jahr mitzumachen. Wir freuen uns auf deine Fotos!

Vergangenes Jahr hat Rolf Kranz mit einer Winteransicht der Marksburg und der Schornsteine der Blei- und Silberhütte Braubach gewonnen. Welcher Fotograf oder welche Fotografin tritt dieses Jahr die Nachfolge an?

Nach WLM 2023 sind wieder zahlreiche neue Denkmallisten entstanden – zum Beispiel in Schenkenzell in Baden-Württemberg oder in Oyten in Niedersachsen.

Für die Suche nach Motiven gibt es bei Wikipedia zahlreiche Listen und Karten. Als Einstieg hilft diese Übersichtsseite. Weitere Informationen erhältst du auf der Mitmach-Seite.

Für das einfache Auffinden haben wir eine Upload-Karte erstellt, in der viele aber leider noch nicht alle Kulturdenkmale angezeigt werden können. Das Laden der Objekte dauert dort etwas.

Wir haben dieses Jahr drei Sonderpreise für Bilder zum Thema „Kinderwelten“ ausgelobt. Zugelassen sind für den Sonderpreis auch Fotos von Bauwerken, die nicht denkmalgeschützt sind. Dieser Sonderpreis wird gemeinsam mit dem Klexikon vergeben.

Außerdem laden wir Dich ein, ab Anfang September 2024 an der Vorjury teilzunehmen. Diese bewertet die hochgeladenen Bilder und ermittelt so gemeinsam mit der Jury, die Anfang November tagen wird, die Sieger von Wiki Loves Monuments 2024 in Deutschland. Das Vorjurytool ist hier bald freigeschaltet. Du benötigst dafür nur deinen Benutzernamen und das Passwort.
