Tatar languages → Tatar language (disambiguation) – There is nothing like "Tatar languages", but various languages called Tatar. Main topic being Tatar language, this seems most logical. When I google "Tatar languages", what is get is mostly getting "Russian and Tatar languages", or an obsolete classification of Turkic, Mongolic and Tungusic languages, from the 1800s. Other results are "Turkish-Tatar/Turco-Tatar languages" (meaning?). I am open to discuss. Beshogur (talk) 09:29, 27 October 2024 (UTC)

- While we're at it, we could merge this into Tatar (disambiguation) and in turn move that to Tatar, fixing the issue of that currently redirecting just to the people, but it's a generic adjective, it could well refer to the language(s). --Joy (talk) 08:30, 28 October 2024 (UTC)
- I like the idea of a dab page for "Tatar language" remaining, regardless of whether or not we move the main dab page. Srnec (talk) 02:54, 31 October 2024 (UTC)
- Support. Even the lead sentence indicates the entries aren't connected. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 11:13, 1 November 2024 (UTC)
