W1k13rh3nry (talk · contribs) - Self nomination: I am a vandalism patroller and really could use the administrator tools, namely the ability to block people and to remove pages. It seems that I edit at odd hours or something because when I deside to patrol reccent changes and find someone repeatedly vandalizing, I revert and warn them, of course, but it seems that my blocking threats carry no weight because there are no administrators to carry out the threat. The guy continues to vandalize and I can't do anything about it. Also when people deside to create stupid pages, I mark them for SD, but it takes a LONG time for administrators to respond. Plus I could go around 6-7 times faster with that neat rollback button! :) W1k13rh3nry 20:34, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- I accept my own nomination :) W1k13rh3nry 20:39, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

- Questions for the candidate
Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia in this capacity. Please take the time to answer a few generic questions to provide guidance for participants:
- 1. What sysop chores do you anticipate helping with?
- A: I plan on continuing to revert vandalism and all that good stuff, but with these tools, it would be much faster and I can do a lot more.
- 2. Of your articles or contributions to Wikipedia, are there any with which you are particularly pleased, and why?
- A: I am proud of my essay on why people should use Wikipedia, at Wikipedia: Why use Wikipedia. I am proud because I like to put my ideas on paper, and I go to a school where Wikipedia is the equilivent of the devil.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: I have not been in edit wars or any other problems. Hey, I'm a vandalism reverter.

Oppose
- Oppose and suggest withdrawal. Inexperienced, you only have 190 edits. You say in your answer to Q1 that you would like to fight vandalism when you have no edits to WP:AIV. Plus, you need to spend time around to familiarize yourslef with the place and its policies, three months are not enough. You have no participation in the project-space; most of your edits in that space are in your essay. - Anas talk? 20:47, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Also, you need to work on your edit summary usage. —Anas talk? 20:49, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

- Oppose. Lack of experience. bibliomaniac15 20:53, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose sorry, and strongly suggest self-withdrawal. You need a lot more experience, but your enthusiasm is welcome. Try again after a few months on Wikipedia and a few thousand edits. Your username is confusing (this is not a reason to oppose, just a personal comment). Oh and you're not supposed to support yourself in your own RFA.--Húsönd 20:58, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
