2026 FIFA World Cup qualification – CAF Group E
Appearance
The 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification – CAF Group E is a CAF qualifying group for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The group contains Morocco, Zambia, Congo, Tanzania and Niger. Eritrea withdrew before the first matches were played. Congo were suspended on 6 February 2025 due to government interference in FECOFOOT operations.[1][2] No announcement of their qualification status was immediately available.
The group winner will directly qualify for the World Cup, and the runner-up could potentially compete in the second round to advance to the inter-confederation play-offs.[3][4]
