Unfortunality most (mostly all) countries dont provide a list of a (very) senior officers medals on a biography, wikipedia is a good median for it as it is collated factual information gathered by contributers gatehred over many years. This type of information is necessary as when you look at an officer of any nation in dress uniform in front of you, you can clearly see on his uniform his 'fruit salad', including the images helps a good portion of viewers to a page understand the difference visually (as not everyone is a wize like me in international H&A identification). e.g.
What he wears on his left breast is at the end of the day all he has to show for his service, and thats fact!
