The Allies of World War II engaged into many purges ( the often violent and sudden removal of people from an area, country; a.k.a Forced migration) of several Civilian groups within their Occupied Territories. These civilians include, but not limited to: Germans, Hungarians, Transylvanian Saxons, Donauschwaben, Sudetenland Germans, Slovaks, Crimean Tatars, etc. Many of these purges occurred during hostilities and prior to the Armistice and later Potsdam Agreement. All Allied purges occurred prior to the 1947 Paris Peace Treaty under the administration of the Allied Control Council.
