List of best-selling albums in South Korea
[edit]Hello, there is a discussion in "the list of best-selling albums in South Korea" about revising the chart with official shipping numbers rather than estimates. There's also the option to add another column for estimate that includes pirated copies. I have enough sources to revise the first 40-50 albums, but I'm going to need help editting the other ones. I'll probably start adding in the column next week, but we can delete it if it is too confusing. All my sources are in a spreadsheet for now. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-0HWP_UHJ2YzCk0WQ30xtdyGeF7DL0lJt3jib2VwYTo/edit#gid=1316180310. I have noticed that you have edited a couple of times, and wonder what your opinion is. Ersity8 (talk) 02:22, 29 April 2019 (UTC)
List of best-selling albums in South Korea restructuring
[edit]Hello, I was wondering if you could contribute on the current discussion on the size and the restructuring of the list, see Talk:List of best-selling albums in South Korea#Size/Restructuring of the table. Thank you.--Lirim | Talk 18:12, 10 May 2019 (UTC)
Please leave an accessdate
[edit]Hi. In future, if you remove the certref= parameter that is calling another reference that has an accessdate like you did here, can you please leave an accessdate? Thanks. Ss112 14:12, 6 October 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Pinged you
[edit]Tagged you across on the BTS album discog talk page but autocorrect flubbed your name so the ping didn't go through. I corrected it afterwards but notifying you here so you won't miss it. -- Carlobunnie (talk) 22:42, 9 July 2020 (UTC)
Help?
[edit]Tagged you here for possible assist since you're good with charts. The editor is looking to bring the exo discog page up to FL status. My orig mention of you didn't send. -- Carlobunnie (talk) 17:22, 20 July 2020 (UTC)
BTS album discog MOTS7TJ oricon updates
[edit]Ik you usually update the sales but I've been doing it on and off while you weren't around for a few days and I just want to be sure I did it correctly to your standards so could you look it over? I haven't updated it for today yet but I did add the latest figures to the MOTS7TJ article if you wanna use the most recent ref from there. Carlobunnie (talk) 22:30, 28 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Carlobunnie: hi! yeah, your updates are fine! But i wasn't updating not exactly because i wasn't around.. after the first few days (when biggest bulk of sales happen), i don't really update per daily charts, if it is clear that it'll chart on weekly (ngl, i do similar to MOTS7 right now, if i see weekly position is stable, it'll chart on monthly, so i update only the monthly). Still thankful you took your time to update (because updating daily's get exhausting) Kleool (talk) 05:36, 29 July 2020 (UTC)
Oricon Sales
[edit]Do we ever use the combined sales figures from the TWS chart, or do we stick strictly to the pure sales daily+weekly charts that don't count streaming+dls? When stay gold didn't chart in the WDS top 20 chart in its 3rd+4th weeks I eventually added the TWS figures for those 2 periods to the sales table. But even as I did so I was thoroughly unsure if that was correct or not. I've been meaning to ask you a while now but I kept forgetting about it until just now when I decided to remove those figures from the table. Hoping to move the draft to article space soon and didn't want to keep something like this in it if it's incorrect. -- Carlobunnie (talk) 02:12, 13 August 2020 (UTC)
- @Carlobunnie: Just like we use only "pure" sales for US and other country sales, same should be standard for Oricon too, so we should use only the chart numbers we know are purely sales based (no streams/sps).Kleool (talk) 06:55, 13 August 2020 (UTC)
- @Kleool: so I was right to remove it, thanks! At the back of my mind, I think I remembered that (it's why I felt so unsure in the first place and needed to double check) but sometimes a definite reminder from someone is best. One more question, is it ok that I mentioned they ranked on the TWS chart in the prose? Or should I not mention that at all? I didn't mention any sales figures, just chart positions (debut+peak). -- Carlobunnie (talk) 15:34, 13 August 2020 (UTC)
- @Carlobunnie: to be honest, i'm not sure? i haven't written articles/prose before, so my advice could be misleading. But, i don't see any reason why you can't, if you think it fits into the theme. I looked into your sandbox to look at that specific mention of the aggregate chart. I might be biased, but maybe should mention what the chart entails? There is a note for the digital chart (that it's digital sales only), but no explanation what the aggregate chart is or what is in it - e.g. that it compiles physical, digital and streaming (or you can mention in Stay Gold case it was just digital+streaming as it didn't have a physical release). - @Kleool: An fn is a good idea, I actually thought about adding one today so I'll def do that. Thanks for the advice! -- Carlobunnie (talk) 19:53, 13 August 2020 (UTC)
One Last Time (Ariana Grande's song)
[edit]The song is now certified 3x platinum in the United Kingdom. Are you able to update it? AnthonyFG (talk) 19:11, 13 November 2020 (UTC)
Digital sales in discographies
[edit]In the TXT discography I see that the physical+digital sales for TDC: Star are both listed+combined to get the 32k number that's there currently. But in the BTS discog, FY's digital album sales were removed and only the physical sales were kept. Which is correct? I was going to remove the digital sales from TXT but I'm not sure if it's ok to do so, so I wanted to check with you first. -- Carlobunnie (talk) 22:57, 16 November 2020 (UTC)
- @Carlobunnie: Hello! It's fully fine to add digitals+physicals together (like it is done for other BTS albums in the discography page). The thing with FY was that the reference (oricon annual ranking) did not specify if the sales are physical only or combined with digital (it just says "album sales"). So I couldn't in good concience "leave" the digitals, in case they were included in the total (to avoid double counting). In oricon reports for 2019, they started specifically dividing the rankings in "physical" and "digital", so it was clear which is which. Kleool (talk) 07:53, 17 November 2020 (UTC)
- @Kleool: ah, I see. Thank you for the clarification! -- Carlobunnie (talk) 18:01, 17 November 2020 (UTC)

Regarding the IP that is constantly reverting
[edit]Hello! Should we report it as edit warring? I have already sent him an edit warring warning but he's still not cooperating. He has already violated the three revert rule on Music Played by Humans and is trying to use another account on Elita (song) to avoid it. He's also slowly destroying Gary Barlow discography but I don't wanna risk the three revert rule. Thoughts? CloseDatMouf (talk) 19:49, 7 January 2021 (UTC)
- @CloseDatMouf: if it's possible, then yes. I understand that person might be trying to improve something, but doing it disastrously (without references etc).Kleool (talk) 06:58, 8 January 2021 (UTC)
- @Kleool: Yeah, he just reverted Elita again. Based on his contributions it looks like he's using Wikipedia as a sandbox or something. Adding fake chart positions and removing other sourced material as if it's his own website. He also has multiple IPs and an account now I think, which makes it more tricky. T CloseDatMouf 19:18, 8 January 2021 (UTC)
- @CloseDatMouf: we could start with the "main" 93.164.22.202 one (i'm not really knowledgable on how this works, so if you do, i'd be grateful), and if the block gets approved, it'd set a precedent for other IP's this person could be using and use the "avoiding ban" clause Kleool (talk) 19:23, 8 January 2021 (UTC)
- @Kleool: I just filed a report on Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring. I hope it works! T CloseDatMouf 16:52, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
- @CloseDatMouf: Thank you VERY much for compiling all that information! (really grateful you sacrificed your time for this) Seems that Admin(s) aggree and have blocked the IP. Hopefully it'll repell the user in question.Kleool (talk) 21:59, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
- @Kleool: You're welcome! But it looks like he's using another IP (192.38.140.42) to revert Elita again. If this happens again I'll report it to the admin. T CloseDatMouf 06:45, 10 January 2021 (UTC)

Thank you for your contribution to cleaning up Category:Certification Table Entry usages of salesamount without salesref (1). Perhaps I should have saved it to 100%, but we are now at 75% (876, started at 3517) and with your contribution I'm sure we will finish it one day. Muhandes (talk) 09:17, 4 August 2021 (UTC) |

Hi Kleool. To save you time in the future, whenever you see usage of Germany2 it is almost always the result of one WP:LTA vandal who reverts article to their state before Germany2 was removed. They always use the same pattern: they make 10-20 good edits, then revert 2-3 pages to where they were long time ago, and disappear. Something we need to live with I guess. --Muhandes (talk) 13:06, 12 August 2021 (UTC)
