[edit]Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Lugansk State Medical University a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Luhansk State Medical University. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. - Thanks for the friendly reminder, but I can not remember anything about this since this all must have happened in 2017.... (What ever happened to "Despacito" Luis Fonsi.... ). But I appreciate and like your desire to improve Wikipedia — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 17:11, 22 May 2024 (UTC)

- Hello Diannaa, I hope all is well. I did rewrote the text you objected to. And I hope all issues are resolved now. If I understand WP:COPYLINK correctly it should be all okay now ("It is not necessary to obtain the permission of a copyright holder before linking to copyrighted material"). I did quoted too literally the source in my edit you objected too... I must have been unfocused that day.... Thanks for correcting my error. Keep this up and you will not be blocked from editing — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 22:16, 17 July 2024 (UTC)

Comment
[edit]I do not think your comments on Talk:Alexander Pushkin are constructive. There is too much personal commentary and personal attacks are prohibited, therefore saying that I sound like a troll when I was trying to discuss this in good faith does not follow Wikipedia's policies. I understand you may feel strongly about the subject but such comments only deter people from participating. People are far less likely to join a discussion if someone is throwing insults around and writing about how much they hate the subject. Please also note that it falls under WP:CTOPS.
I made a legitimate argument that focusing too much on Ukraine is undue in that article, especially when an article about this already exists. There were also Karl Marx streets and monuments in Ukraine, therefore if you decided to add a section or two in Karl Marx#Legacy about how the streets were renamed and his monuments were removed in Ukraine specifically, and somebody reverted you, you cannot just start a rant on the talk page about how the article is a fan club for Karl Marx. Mellk (talk) 16:32, 11 September 2024 (UTC)
- I answered at Talk:Alexander_Pushkin#We_are_not_making_a_Pushkin_fanclub_over_here.... since I see no point in having 2 discussions going on about the same thing on 2 different places. I do want to add here that although I was being reckless on Talk:Alexander Pushkin in the article itself I did stick to the Wikipedia:BOLD, revert, discuss cycle. I never even heard before about Wikipedia:Status quo stonewalling until I snooped around on your talk page.... — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 20:19, 12 September 2024 (UTC)
