Disputatio:Adoratio Eucharistica
I'm trying to translate the sentence Während der Aussetzung darf nicht im gleichen Kirchenraum die Heilige Messe gefeiert werden, sie muss als eigenständige Form der Eucharistieverehrung beachtet werden. and I've finished most of it, however I am having a few problems. I'll show my work, and then point out my problems.
- Super adorationem ne celebretur Missa in eadem Ecclesia. Tantum una formula adorationis eucharisticae permittitur...
Now, the problems I'm encountering are how to say during (I used Super because that is what Whitaker recomended), same (I used eadem because I was unsure what the ablative form is), and "same time" after permittitur. Alexanderr 23:41, 4 Ianuarii 2007 (UTC)
"Adoratio Eucharistica prohibetur in anglicana secta"
[fontem recensere]Care usor ignote numero 201.2.236.153, re: "Adoratio Eucharistica prohibetur in anglicana secta."—Immo, permittitur, sicut in secta Romana. ¶ Vide quod Ecclesia Anglicana Americana ipsa (The Episcopal Church) dicit: "A service of devotion to the Blessed Sacrament. In this service a large Host is placed in the luna of a monstrance on the altar so that the Host is visible to the congregation. The Host is censed while it is in the monstrance and used to bless the congregation by making the sign of the cross over the people. This service includes prayers and one or more hymns that emphasize the Incarnation and Christ's real presence in the sacrament of the eucharist. The Host is returned to the tabernacle at the end of the service. The BCP makes no provision for Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament, but it may be seen in parishes with an Anglo-catholic piety" (http://www.ecusa.anglican.org/19625_13827_ENG_HTM.htm). In paroeciis, id solet fieri a fidelibus voluntariis; in monasteriis et conventibus, a monachis vel sororibus." Hanc adorationem saepenumero vidi apud hoc monasterium Anglicanum Cantabrigiae: http://www.ssje.org/. ¶ Praeterea, noster commentarius accuratissime commentarium apud en:Eucharistic adoration Latine, verbum pro verbo, reddierat: "Eucharistic adoration is a practice in the Roman Catholic and in Anglican Churches, in which the Blessed Sacrament is exposed to and adored by the faithful. When this exposure and adoration is constant (that is, twenty-four hours a day), it is called perpetual adoration. In a parish, this is usually done by volunteer parishioners; in a monastery or convent, it is done by the resident monks or nuns." ¶ Ergo, mutationes tuae revertenda sunt ut verba priora restituantur.
