Salve! I've seen you are heavily editing stipulae. ;-) So I want to point you to http://la.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vicipaedia:Taberna/Vetera#Intersect --Roland2 11:53, 25 Decembris 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Ooh... that is a very nifty tool. Coolness. Yeah, I'm a stub-sorter over at the English Wikipedia, and since I saw there were a few stub types here... :) --Alynna Kasmira 03:22, 28 Decembris 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Categoria:Geographia -> Categoria:Geographia|!

[fontem recensere]

What do you think about categorizing the stub categories into the "!"-section? See [1] --Roland2 12:15, 24 Ianuarii 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, that's probably a good idea... I'll go run over any you haven't already caught --Alynna Kasmira 15:17, 24 Ianuarii 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Just stipula

[fontem recensere]

Hi, Example 3 on Usor:Roland2/Intersect finds articles which have a stipula template but not a sub-stipula template. These seem to be candidates for what you call "stipula-sort". ;-) --Roland2 17:03, 25 Ianuarii 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, that is handy... (I've been alternately using that and the whatlinkshere {{stipula}}.) The reason most of those are still there is that there's not yet a sub-stipula template that fits... And, uh, is there a decent translation for 'sort'? *Slightly embarassed she still hasn't found one* --Alynna Kasmira 21:38, 25 Ianuarii 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, the whatlinks here is a good idea ... ;-) Sorry, no idea what sorting is in Latin. --Roland2 22:08, 25 Ianuarii 2006 (UTC)[reply]

stipulam digessi isn't a bad way to go...(lit. i sorted/arranged a stipula)--Ioshus Rocchio 23:48, 7 Martii 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, good idea, thanks --Alynna Kasmira 19:26, 10 Martii 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Again stipula ...

[fontem recensere]

Hi, I am wondering ...

  1. ... how it technically works that an article with e. g. {{dies-stipula}} is listed in category Stipulae Dies and the general category Stipulae as well
  2. ... if all sub-stubs should really be additionally listed in the general Stipulae category.

What do you think? --Roland2 21:58, 26 Ianuarii 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You know, it's interesting you should mention that, because I recently went through all the sub-stipula templates and took them out of the general cat:Stipulae (since they all have their own categoriae). The thing is, anything that has one of those templates on it and hasn't been edited since I changed the template will still be listed in the Stipulae categoria. If I was feeling incredibly bored, I could go null-edit every one of them and that would fix it.
Does that answer your question?
--Alynna Kasmira 00:09, 27 Ianuarii 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, then I might have an answer ... the page cache has to be purged. This happens automatically after some time but can also be done manually with "action=purge" in the URL for each page.
Just click on "recensere" and change "action=edit" to "action=purge" and press ENTER then.
I'll check if it works ... ;-)
--Roland2 00:30, 27 Ianuarii 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hm ... it does NOT seem to work with purge but it works with a null edit. Hm ... --Roland2 00:35, 27 Ianuarii 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Perl ... not a stipula? ;-) --Roland2 17:17, 30 Ianuarii 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That's a stipula if I've ever seen one... I'll mark it as such right away. --Alynna Kasmira 21:16, 30 Ianuarii 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Shouldn't Perl be treated special ;-) ... I've visited your English user page and I like to play with Perl, too. --Roland2 21:32, 30 Ianuarii 2006 (UTC)[reply]
*laugh* I'll work on the article when I have time... Writing actual content takes a lot more thought than throwing stipulae around :P --Alynna Kasmira 21:36, 30 Ianuarii 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I meant "special" in that sense, that this article would be seen as being perfect as it is now. Perl. 42. --Roland2 21:50, 30 Ianuarii 2006 (UTC)[reply]
ah, i see. --Alynna Kasmira 21:51, 30 Ianuarii 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It has worked: Just 67 entries. Congratulations! --Roland2 22:15, 31 Ianuarii 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yay! Yeah, I was going through null-editing/actually-editing everything in the category, and about halfway through I noticed all the ones in subcategories had disappeared... cool. --Alynna Kasmira 00:42, 1 Februarii 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WWW-Mediawiki-Client-0.28

[fontem recensere]

Hi, I did some testing and this Perl module from CPAN seems to work (at least partly) with the English Wikipedia. I succeded to download a page from the en:WP with get_server_page. With the Latin WP I got an error in package WWW::Mediawiki::Client in line 1197 ff but could fix it:

    unless (lc($headline) =~ /"$expected"$/) {  # <<<<<<<<<< was: /$expected$/
        WWW::Mediawiki::Client::ServerPageException->throw(
	        error => "The server could not resolve the page name
                        '$pagename', but responded that it was '$headline'.",
                res   => $res,
            ) if ($headline && $headline =~ /^Recenseo /); # <<<<<<<< was: Editing

The author seems to make presumptions which are not true for the Latin WP. However, in general the module seems to be very clean. I just wanted to tell you this. --Roland2 22:55, 3 Februarii 2006 (UTC)[reply]
