    Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan has turned 52 today, and fans are once again wondering as to how the 'Kaho na Pyaar Hai' actor maintains his sculpted physique, strong body and his timeless charm. Though his chiselled body is often attributed to his gruelling and hard-hitting workouts, the secret lies in his plate. Recently, Hrithik Roshan took to his Instagram handle and shared his secret to his exceptional physique at the age of 51. In the caption of his Instagram post, the actor wrote: “New motto. Eat lesser, love better. But make the plate look huge. He posted a picture of his plate filled with multiple dishes, each in small servings, and wrote about how “eating less” has become his guiding principle. His plate included colourful vegetables like zucchini, carrots, okra, and beans, paired with protein‑rich foods like tandoori chicken and lentils.


    Hrithik Roshan's secret diet revealed

    According to a report in Hindustan Times, Hrithik Roshan, eats every 2.5 to three hours and completes his last by 9 pm and then fasts till the next morning, which keeps his metabolism active and supports muscle recovery. This approach is different from other celebrities and fitness enthusiasts who swear by intermittent fasting or one‑meal‑a‑day diets. “Hrithik sir eats every 2.5 to 3 hours a day. He finishes his day by 9 p.m. maximum. Then he fasts till the morning,” Shubham Vishwakarma, who joined Hrithik Roshan's team in 2022, was quoted as saying by Health Shots.

    Asked about what Hrithik Roshan eats in a typical day, Shubham Vishwakarma replied, "Protein, carbs, fibre and healthy fat." At 52, muscle gain requires precision, and Hrithik’s diet is carefully designed to provide natural protein sources. "I add eggs, chicken and fish for Omega-3 in his diet. ⁠Greek yoghurt, oats and quinoa are also some of the staple foods we give him. Nuts and seeds are non-negotiables that we add to Hrithik sir's diet to ensure he remains fit and healthy," he explains.

    Asked about his favourite sources of protein, the chef reveals that Hrithik gets his daily intake of protein from natural foods such as white fish, eggs, lentil, rajma and chickpea.

    Hrithik Roshan loves pizza, burgers

    Hrithik Roshan's favourite cheat meal items include tandoori chicken, BBQ chicken. No carbs burger, and Jowar-based pizza. "That's what sir likes - foods that satiate his taste buds, but is also mindful," he says. The chef believes people have a perception that Hrithik Roshan doesn't eat too much regular Indian foods such as roti, sabji and dal. But here's what: "Sir's comfort food is moong dal, Bhindi bhaji, Jowar roti and one bowl of dahi," he says. What are some foods Hrithik avoids? “Mushrooms,” says Shubham. “They are healthy, but he chooses not to eat them. Apart from that, he avoids refined sugar, seed oils, and gluten.” Shubham also revealed that Hrithik loves a protein-rich brownie. This approach allows him to enjoy variety while keeping calories in check, proving that mindful eating is just as important as workouts in maintaining his physique.
