Vyacheslav Viktorovich Volodin (Russian: Вячесла́в Ви́кторович Воло́дин; born 4 February 1964) is a Russian politician. He is the 10th Chairman of the State Duma since 5 October 2016.[1]
Career
[change | change source]Volodin was Vladimir Putin's aide. He was the Secretary-General of the United Russia party. He was also a deputy in the State Duma from 1999-2001.
From 2010 until 2012, he was Deputy Prime Minister of Russia. He was also a first deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration of Russia. He also helped in Putin's third term.
