What Members Thought

This should be the foundational book for all home cooks and aspiring chefs. It is engaging and extremely useful. I've read books on cooking science and watched many food shows. And I'm surprised by the many new things I learned in this book.
I didn't care for the hand-drawn illustrations. Some of the text was hard to read. Despite that, I still give this book 5 stars. ...more
