There's something about this that makes me think it's better as a set of really gross set pieces than it is as a version of IT. ...so much is lost from what I think of as the point of IT, that I'm not sure what this is really supposed to be about.

Probably as a fan of the book I had too many high expectations. A lot of USA cliché so unnecessary. The army is trying to capture It to use it as a weapon...are you joking?! It could be seen just by kids, keep at least that! A lot of splatter but never a bit of tension or suspense. Muschietti ruined the movie and now came up with this TV series taking just the villain and made a ridiculous shadow of what It really is. Another chance of making a high level tv serie flushed down the toilet.

Se vc gostou do filme It (2017) esse é um prato cheio pra você, a série é ótima, o único "defeito" é a demora para aparecer o Pennywise (ele começa a aparecer no ep5)

The first time I have seen a television series that was actually scarier than the films that helped inspire it! If you are into this kind of stuff you can’t miss this!

What an amzing show. Creepy, charming, emotional and more! Characters are so easy to like, acting is phenomenal, music on point (never skipped the intro lol) and cgi well done too. Must-watch!

This started out very strong but as it went along there was so much that the show tried to explain which didn’t need explaining. In the end it felt like every character in the show had to be related to a future character and that always ruins any immersion. The final episode felt like pennywise was desperately trying not to succeed and just gift a win to the kids. Unsatisfying.
