    Single Value constraint?

    [edit]

The values for the FSK can change over time or have different values for different versions of the movie (like cinema vs. dvd). A single value constraint for this property doesn't support to have all the values in Wikidata. --Senechthon (talk) 19:18, 13 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I changed it to single-best-value constraint (Q52060874) for the case of change over time (the current value should have a preferred rank). For different versions one should probable use separators indicated via separator (P4155) as a qualifier for single-best-value constraint (Q52060874). (Maybe distribution format (P437) for the case of theatrical release (Q47544021) vs. home video release (Q47544035)?) - Valentina.Anitnelav (talk) 08:53, 15 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

    add a comment

    [edit]

how to add a comment like "cutted version" via a rating for the "uncutted version"? -- 80.128.213.85 10:09, 16 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

    found two examples
    • Q206374: "software version identifier" (P348)
    • Q27642808 "alternative names" (P4970)
both don't sound very logical to me -- it should be more like a hint, comment or sort of a classification or property ... 80.128.213.85 10:33, 16 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
    i now tried "constraint clarification" (P6607), see Q46129855 -- 80.128.213.85 11:04, 16 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
In the examples, I preferred the original version, i.e. in one case the theatrical version, in the other one the version with the original cut. Additionally, there are in one example a director's cut and in both example versions where some scenes were cut out to get a version that can be shown to minors. --Senechthon (talk) 16:22, 16 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
thanks for this info ... but it's no help for how to show an information string about the difference of the certified versions ... --80.128.213.85 23:41, 16 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

what about edition/version (P9767), object stated in reference as (P5997), object named as (P1932) or subject named as (P1810)? Queryzo (talk) 15:53, 20 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
