bookshelves: thriller

DNF, giving up at page 104, will try to pick it up later. I’m sure there’s a fabulous twist coming, but it’s making me all sorts of claustrophobic and one of the characters is driving me bananas.

Victoria Melissa, our book club read this last year and all 16 women hated it. When have you known that many women to agree on anything?

BernLuvsBooks I wasn't a fan either. I did finish bc I rarely DNF a book but I had to force it.

Erin (from Long Island, NY) Wow! It’s so interesting to read a book, have a genuine response & then find that other people responded the exact same way! I just read this book & it’s literally the first I can remember that I genuinely didn’t want to finish. ONLY because i was listening to the audiobook did I decide to power through (& because I was doing some late Christmas shopping so it was easy to have it on in 1 ear!😂) But then i did like the end! Idk if it quite made up for how long & miserable it took to get there... But i was definitely glad i finished. In fact, i decided to write a review to warn people that i just about gave up, but that (imho) it was worth finishing so stick it out! But i haven't gotten to it yet. Then as i was reading your other reviews for book recommendations & saw you DNF, i figured I'd just comment here! If you ever decide to finish, please lmk what you think! 🙂
