Nope. As much as I adored Oryx and Crake, I can't get into this one at all right now. Maybe I'll revisit this in the future. Or maybe not!

Life's too short etc. says I who hasn't read 1 single Atwood book. Oops.
What a shame Canders, you loved Oryx and Crake - as did I. I'm not so sure about this one now :(

Too many characters, too many made-up words, and just a bit all over the place for my poor little mind right now :D And I typically like unusual stuff, but I can't wrap my head around Atwood's world for a while!
I'm generally the one who runs from the "weird" stuff and you are always so brave and daring. I did like this and you would need it to understand the last book. I hope you do decide to get back to it, but, hey, we have all learned to walk away from what isn't working and it's a good skill!

I'll go back to this one someday, because I'm super interested in book 3 :)

Some of my favorite books were penned by Atwood :) I've read some of her poetry as well and am a huge fan of that as well!
I actually brought that collection home and looked through it a bit before the holidays, Andrea! It's officially on my list to-read now :)
