Upon discovering the likes of Stephen King, Clive Barker and Michael Slade while in his teens, James Garcia Jr. soon began creating his own dark worlds. Not prepared to write and be a mature husband and father, that passion was boxed away for nearly twenty years. Then, not wanting to allow regret to fester, he finally removed that box from the attic of his heart and opened it. He now has four novels: the stand-alone paranormal romance "Seeing Ghosts" and the three volume (so far) "Dance on Fire" crossover vampire series. ...more

Hi, Karen. *waves*
Sometimes I wonder if I'm really any good at all, or perhaps simply catch these previously written stories and then write them down for others to read - as if using some mystical dreamcatcher. 99 Cent November

Hello, Fire Enthusiasts. Seasons Greetings to you as we enter the stretch run of 2015. Once you get to Halloween the next thing we know it's New Year's Day. Am I right? Hopefully it won't really be like that. Here in the California central valley the heat has finally left us, although it hasn't really gotten that cool yet. Yes, I wrote "cool." We don't really get winter here. Whatever. I'm just gl Read more of this blog post »

“I think horror can and should be classy. I enjoy seeing it raised up not lowered down to the lowest common denominator.
There's prejudice against the horror genre and I think sometimes that's the fault of the authors involved.”

James Jr. *smiles*Once I heard how much you missed "home", I just felt a connection to stop what i was doing and say hello. I hope you make it back soon, my new friend. I was born in Hanford, but live up the road in Kingsburg. In any event we're just in the shadow of Fresno - where you can find one or more of us nearly every week.
Happy Easter to you and yours! *waves*

James Jr. Hi, Star. I just happened to see your post on a Good reads group or something and saw that you were from Cali and missed home. Something in all of that made me stop and say hello. We Calif. people have to stick together! :) Anyway, it's good to meet you, and I look forward to hearing about your work.
Have a great Easter weekend!

-Jimmy

Hello, Victoria. It is very nice to meet you. Mostly I am here for PR. You know a little bit about that, right? LOL! I do love to read, but don't get the time to do as much as I used to. I've been to your blog. You have another follower now!! Take care.
